Candy Necklaces - First made popular in the 1950s, candy necklaces (also folded over several times to make candy bracelets by pioneering youngsters) brought convenient candy eating to a whole new level. Generations of kids to follow could be seen riding their bikes down their street with necklaces firmly between their teeth. How can we forget the sweet satisfaction of being able to bite down on our accessories and have the crunch candy give way to powdery sweetness. It was worth the inevitable sticky neck.
